About Gamers Who Chill
GWC started in 2022 as a small Discord server for friends and grew into a real-world community of gamers meeting up across the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. We're here for the games, the laughs, the late-night hangouts, and the people we meet along the way. This is what we're about.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is there an age requirement to join?
Yes, GWC is strictly 21+.
Do I need to reside in DFW?
Yes, our standard membership area covers the following counties: Dallas, Tarrant, Denton, and Collin. Although, if you're nearby or visiting town, you're still free to join as an out-of-towner!
Can I come alone?
Absolutely - most people show up solo their first time! We pride ourselves on being an open, welcoming community. Our team makes introductions and helps you get settled in as soon as you walk in the door.
Is it free to attend?
The vast majority of GWC events are completely free to attend. You only cover ticketed activities (if applicable) and whatever you choose to order from the venue: food, drinks, or nothing at all. No membership fees, ever.
What kind of games do you play?
A mix of everything: fighting games, party titles, co-op survival, shooters, simulators, and tabletop board games - there is something for everyone.
Is GWC PC-only gaming?
Nope! We welcome all types of gamers. Whether you play on PC, console, or mobile (even casual Candy Crush on lunch breaks), or haven't played since you were a kid - you're a gamer to us.
What if I'm not a gamer? Can I still join?
Yes! While our community is centered around gaming culture, we have plenty of members who join primarily for the social atmosphere.
What kind of events does GWC host?
Our flagship events include board game socials, arcade takeovers, karaoke nights, and virtual game sessions. We also host dinner meetups, convention trips, sport outings, and member-led interest-based community hangouts.
How often do events happen?
Between official flagship meetups and community-hosted sessions, we have multiple events every month across DFW and online. Full events schedule, details, and RSVP links are posted in our Discord.
I'm a venue manager. What space do you need?
Typically, a designated section or semi-private area that can seat or hold 20–60 patrons. Depending on the event type, we may need a few standard power outlets and a TV or projector. We may bring consoles and/or board games. Setup and teardown are fully handled by our team.
